Sacred Sauna
By booking a mobile sauna through Sacred Sauna (referred to as "we," "us," or "the Company"), you (referred to as "Customer") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Rental Agreement
This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between the Company and the Customer for the rental of the mobile sauna.
By completing a reservation, the Customer agrees to all terms outlined herein and is responsible for adhering to them throughout the rental period.
2. Rental Duration and Return

Rental Period: The rental period begins at the agreed-upon start time indicated in the booking confirmation, whether or not the Customer is present at delivery or collection, and ends at the agreed-upon end time when the sauna is returned to the Company or collected by the Company.

Late Return: A £10 per hour late fee will apply if the sauna is not returned, made available, or ready for collection at the agreed end time. We reserve the right to deduct late fees from the security deposit or charge the Customer’s payment method on file.
If the sauna is not returned or made available for collection within 6 hours after the scheduled end time, the booking will be deemed to have extended by one (1) full additional rental day, and the daily rental rate will apply. -
Early Return: No refunds or credits are provided for early returns. The rental fee is for the full booked period, regardless of use.
3. Security Deposit
A £500 security deposit is required at the time of booking. If paid via credit card, this may be processed as a temporary hold rather than a direct charge.
The security deposit will be released within approximately 7 days after the sauna has been returned to us, subject to our inspection. If the sauna and all included equipment are returned in their original condition, the security deposit will be released in full.
The security deposit may be fully or partially forfeited if, upon inspection, there is any damage, loss, or injury to the mobile sauna (including the stove, trailer, interior, exterior, or accessories) resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence, improper operation, or any cause whatsoever that occurs while the sauna is in the Client’s care, possession, or use, including during the booking session.
If the cost of repair or replacement exceeds the deposit amount, the Client agrees to pay the additional amount upon receipt of an itemized invoice detailing such costs.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance
The Customer is responsible for maintaining the sauna in a clean and tidy condition.

Cleaning Requirements:
- Wiped down using the provided cleaning supplies
- Free of personal belongings
- Free of debris, trash, or excessive dirt
- Floors and seating surfaces wiped clean

If the sauna is returned in a condition that requires more than standard cleaning, a £50 cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the Customer’s payment method on file.

Examples of excessive cleaning include but are not limited to mud, sand buildup, spilled beverages, bodily fluids, food waste, or smoke damage from improper fire handling.
5. Damage or Loss
The Customer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the sauna during the rental period.

The Customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the sauna or its equipment during the rental period, whether intentional or accidental.

Any damage or missing parts will be assessed upon return. The Customer will be charged for the cost of repair or replacement.

If the sauna is irreparably damaged, considered unsafe to use, or not returned, the Customer will be responsible for the full replacement value of the unit.

If the cost of repair or replacement exceeds the security deposit, the Customer agrees to pay the additional amount upon receipt of an itemized invoice.

Insurance upgrade options may be available; please contact us before the rental date if you wish to add coverage.
6. Safety and Usage
The Customer agrees to use the sauna in a safe and responsible manner.

Prohibited Activities: The following activities are prohibited inside or around the sauna:
- Smoking
- Use of alcohol or drugs
- Improper or reckless use of the sauna
- Any illegal activities

Capacity:
- 5-Person Sauna: Maximum capacity of 5 people.
- 12-Person Sauna: Maximum capacity of 12 people.
Overloading the sauna may result in damage, for which the Customer will be held responsible. -
The Customer must follow all usage guidelines provided, including temperature settings and proper ventilation.
7. Delivery, Setup, and Pickup
- Delivery: If the Company is providing delivery, the Customer must be present at the agreed location to receive and inspect the sauna. Delivery fees may apply based on the distance.
- Setup: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the sauna is placed on a stable and flat surface that can support the weight. The Customer must ensure that the sauna is connected to a safe electrical source, if applicable.
- Pickup: The sauna must be packed and ready for pickup at the agreed-upon time and location.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations:
Full Refund: Cancellations made 10 days or more before the rental date are eligible for a full refund.
50% Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made 4 to 9 days before the rental date will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total rental cost. This amount may be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the payment method on file.
No Refund: Cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of the rental date are non-refundable, as it is unlikely that the booking slot can be rebooked on short notice. -
Rescheduling:
The Customer may reschedule once, free of charge, if notice is provided at least 72 hours (3 days) before the rental date, subject to availability.
Rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the rental date may be subject to a £25 administrative change fee, and approval will be subject to availability and the Company’s discretion.
No rescheduling is permitted on the day of the booking. Failure to proceed with the booking on the scheduled date will be treated as a cancellation with no refund.
9. Liability
The Company is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages to personal property that occur during the use of the mobile sauna.
The Customer assumes all risk and liability for the use of the sauna and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims arising from such use.
10. Force Majeure
The Company is not responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this agreement due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, severe weather, or government restrictions.
11. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The Customer will be notified of any changes that affect current rentals, and updated terms will be posted on our website.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with the booking and rental of the mobile sauna, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this agreement, the parties agree to the following process for dispute resolution:
Arbitration Requirement: Both parties must submit the dispute to binding arbitration as a first step before initiating any legal proceedings. The arbitration must be conducted in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration service or as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
Good Faith Effort: Both parties agree to engage in the arbitration process in good faith, with the goal of resolving the dispute amicably and efficiently.
Finality of Arbitration: The decision of the arbitrator(s) will be final and binding on both parties, and may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Legal Proceedings: No party may initiate legal proceedings related to this agreement unless the arbitration process has been fully completed and documented.
Location and Costs: Arbitration will be conducted in a mutually agreed location within the United Kingdom, and the costs of arbitration will be shared equally unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.
Effective Date: 05/11/25
