We're Sacred Sauna, and we're based in Bridgwater.

I'm Richard Harborne a CEO, sauna owner, marketer, and wellness enthusiast who's passionate about helping the UK sauna community grow.

When we first started, bookings were unpredictable. We couldn't even get hourly bookings back then.

"We created a form on our website that people would fill out. Then we'd get inquiries in our email from people asking whether we could deliver to their area. But they wouldn't commit because they thought the exclusive hire was too pricey, too far, or the delivery fee too expensive."

We would email back, and then they'd eventually lose interest they'd say, "I'll think about it," but never follow up.

Days would go by without a single booking, or without enough bookings in our calendar for the week, and we'd wonder why people weren't coming to our saunas or ordering our sauna trailers.

Then we realised why we hadn't been converting.

We realised it was because we weren't personally connecting with the leads we had already nurtured.

The Solution That Transformed Our Business

So we created a pipeline that helped us fix that.

We started using ad platforms that targeted high-intent prospects.

Then, we used messaging platforms, like Whatsapp, to establish a personal connection with the lead. We'd listen in on their needs for their birthday, hen do, camping event, rituals, etc.

Before long, we started getting bookings with people who would commit even on holidays (when we charge higher fees). The charge for these would be no less than 350 pounds, and we've made friends with prospects who would book our mobile sauna at 900+ pounds.

Yes, we now acquire high-intent leads at £300–£900+ bookings for special life events.

That was our method: running targeted ads that hone in on high-intent prospects and nurturing them by personally contacting them. We met our monthly quota because of this.

Building a Network of Trust

Now, we've developed a network of people who now trust us to deliver at their events, birthdays, corporate gatherings, outdoor rituals, and camping trips.

However, as we expanded, we realised that people far from Bridgwater were taking interest in our services but these areas were beyond our delivery capabilities.

The challenge: our service area remains in Bridgwater, and we're not expanding locations.
